Eugene Rodriguez X-275 runner up. Eugene runs a Scotty's Racing Technology engine with Induction Solutions Nitrous, Catagory Five chassis with assorted fabrication by Matt Larue's Pro Fab Performance.

 

 

Walt Drakeford took the title for the innagrual year of X-275 here at Sunshine Dragstrip. Walt and crew built and maintain the car owned by Mike Burkhart out of his business Real Speed Racing. www.realspeedparts.com.

 

 

 

Limited Street

 

Tony Ridenour - November Outlaw Radial/Limited Street winner. Tony uses a twin Procharged Big Block Chevy from Fast Forward Race Engines backed by a Ripper Powerglide Transmission.

 

Scott Husted is the 2011 ODR/LS Champion is it's first year with the current rule format. Originally built by Catagory Five Race Cars, Scott finished up the cage and fabrication to the fit the twin turbocharged Nelson Competition big block Chevy at his own shop, Gadget Race Cars.

 

 

Outlaw 632

 

Eddie Whitlow put the Tom Joyce Roofing Camaro in the winners circle enough times this year to win the Championship, he also ran the table this month.

 

 

Pro Mod

 

Jon Adams's took home the win this month in Pro Mod. He switched off drivers this year, assuming duties from Corky Markwart who drove for him earlier this year. This car accumulated the most season points but the driver swap cost them the Champoinship. Scotty's Racing Technology maintains the big, big block Chevy, Steve Johnson lends support with the nitrous setup from Induction Solutions.

 

 

 

2011 Pro Mod Champion - Chris Mendola

With recent addition Bob Newberry to the Mendola/Lay Racing team there have been steady improvements in performance and consistancy. The 511 ci. P.S.I. Blown BBC is built and maintained by Scotty's Racing Technology in Spring Hill, Florida. The car was built in house.

Mike Laws took the win this month in Open Outlaw with the flip of a coin. The BLP Performance team attended two races this years with good results and plan to run more events for 2012.

 

Ron Logan got the runner up spot this month with the T. N. A. Racing blown dragster. He is a two time Open Outlaw Champion trading off with Matt Gilmore who's car was absent for most of the year.

 

Kenny Gonyo hands off the Ziggy fabricated Open Outlaw trophy to Ron Logan.
